This game is 50/50 for me at the moment, currently the state of the game is hit and miss depending on your pc. I run a mid/higher range PC:

2060 Super
Ryzen 5 3600x
32GB RAM

and the game is running 50 - 60fps with DLSS on quality and a few extras bumped up. The game does have an incredible amount of graphics settings which tell you what has a high impact on certain parts of your machine. So the customisation is there, just fiddle around a bit youll hit an decent amount of FPS.

As for the game itself, well the last of us is an amazing game. The game looks BEAUTIFUL and I mean it, so far I havent experienced any bugs and the game play has been smooth, for the price they are charging I would say its worth it. So for anyone hesitant to buy I will put it this way. If you have a high end to mid range pc get it, youll get a solid 60 and youll be blown away by the whole thing. Anyone with a Low -Mid range pc, its up to you whether you will be willing to sacrifice the look for the FPS. If you have 8GB of ram dont expect this to run well. If you have 16GB you'll get it going but you will have to close everything on your pc. If you have 32GB youll be fine.

Overall it seems a lot of people reviewing negatively based the minimum requirements off the steam page. I would say if you go to their twitter page and look at their specs there, those are more accurate. The crashing is just for low end systems not the game being buggy itself (from what I have noticed) its a solid remake, needs the optimisation and a bit more clarity over how it will actually run but its good!

this review is a little late but I played from launch day, I stayed up all night to play as soon as it was released. Let me tell you, after all the negative reviews and controversy and bugs the game is AMAZING! The story is super good and the firstperson gameplay is just immaculate. I played through the whole story in a few days built up 35 hours of gameplay and I experienced 2 major bugs and about 10 minor ones such as cars flying through pipes in the sky and NPCs walking through chairs etc but nothing too extreme I recommend purchasing in a sale as full price is a little much and CDPR are actually updating which is good! Buy it play like 2 hours I guarantee your gonna have a blast!

The best remaster ever made. This game has an insanely gripping story, i even ended up playing it 9 hours straight on the first day. Overall its about 12 hours story for me. The graphics are AMAZING even better than some modern games now. I HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone who likes a good story. A few bugs here and there but nothing too dramatic 10/10!

Honestly my expectations were low but WOW! Just WOW! This game is the most fun I have had in a game in years. Its funny, the graphics are amazing and it's very well optimised, the music is perfect. Its just like the films! The combat is unique and the story (all though at the time of writing the review not completed) is so far incredibly good! Its chill, laid back and just overall quality! I highly recommend! Square Enix did a good job on this one! Edit: Soundtrack very good!
