Pros
One of the best OST's I have ever listened to, with great synthwave musicians including, Carpenter Brut, Lorn, Danger, Waveshaper, Toxic Avenger, etc.
Amazing character design by the same person who designed the Afro Samurai characters (Takashi Okazaki)
Spot on voice acting in 3 different languages
Confusing at first, but an interesting plot that all comes together in the end, and becomes very clear the 2nd playthrough
Challenging but very doable, boss battles
Gameplay is very smooth with very tight animations during the fight and all bosses are unique with very little redundancy
About 5 hours of gameplay with 10 unique bosses (without dlc)
Cons
Very rare bugs that sometimes ruined my speedruns, but usually never occur during a normal/casual playthrough
Sometimes the diffuculty spikes are very sudden and unfair at certain points (at least for a new player)
Learning curve is quite large that could be annoying for new people with low tolerance

Overall the game is a 9/10.
