This movie is just Mothra trying to sober Godzilla up after he went on drinking with Rodan and Anguirus, would explain why he was so clumsy in this movie and got up from the ground. BAD hangover, then he accidentally killed her and now she had to reincarnate as one of those twin worms and give Big G a slap in the face to sober him up by binding him. Their relationship is not healthy, but they wont leave each other either.
