This game is one of the greatest Call of Duty games that was ever released.
It pains me to look back to 2016-17 and see all the negativity this game was faced with, it was never given a chance.
To go by mode:
The Campaign a top 3 campaign in the Call of Duty franchise and I'm not afraid to say that. Each mission is a mastercraft of worldbuilding and has my favorite loadout system of all the CoD games (Black Ops II has it pretty good as well). The game has awesome high moments and action packed sequences (disabling the C12 mechs being my favorite) and special abilities given during certain missions provides a great feeling of power in some cases and introduces very interesting game mechanics in other cases. The alternate gameplay sections are also amazing, both the Zero-G sections and Jackal sections are super fun and satisfying, especially the Jackal flight sections. Without explicitly commenting on the story, it's my favorite among the CoD games. Despite the short runtime of the story, it's masterfully written to make believable characters that I quickly got attached to. I can't praise the campaign enough, my only criticisms are the relatively short length of the campaign (I could've played this story for another 20 more hours) and the Villain, which falls into the trap of being so "evil" that the player can't relate with the villain in any way. These criticisms are minor however, and doesn't effect the overall polish of the story. I can't praise this game enough, I could write an essay on why it's a masterpiece. I've played through the campaign to it's completion 3 times in total, most recently on the Specialist difficulty, and each time upon completion I've cried like baby.

The Multiplayer is sadly dead, however as someone who played it back in 2017 I can attest that it was a phenomenal experience. Getting the lootboxes out of the way first, I actually found to be decently fair as the game gave you plenty of free lootboxes daily. Regarding everything else, the specialist system is the best in the series, the factions added an extra layer of customization and is one of my favorite features in any Call of Duty (Seriously, I was tempted to write a whole paragraph on them alone for how much I loved the feature), the aesthetic for the menus is the cleanest in the entire series with excellent sound design to match, and the score is beautiful. Many people looked down upon IW's multiplayer, but I honestly believe that it is top 5 in quality for the series, beating Black Ops 3 handily, and implementing the boost system in an excellent way, something I think people overreacted to 8 year ago.

Zombies as a mode is great overall, however I have only played Zombies in Spaceland which was seen as the best so I can't really comment on the mode as a whole. However as someone who has but hundreds of hours into Black Ops 2 and 3 zombies from what I have played I can firmly say that it's a great experience. When I finally get around to playing the DLC maps I'll have to come back and amend this.

Finally as a note: I would not buy this game at full price as the multiplayer is dead. I would highly recommend buying it on sale though, this game is definitely worth giving a shot for the Campaign and Zombies alone.

In closing, this is one of my favorite games, it was one of the last Call of Duty games to have a "soul" so to speak, a lot of passion and creativity went into the game and it shows very clearly. If I had a time machine I wish I could go back in time and experience the multiplayer in it's prime again it pains me to see it inactive.
I'd probably give it a 8.5/10, one of my favorite First Person Shooters I've ever played.

Good game, full of valve charm

Came for the cute anime Demon Girls, stayed for the amazing puzzles and... Demon Girls.

While short, this game is honestly one of the best I've played. It's challenging, providing no opportunities for mistakes. But at the same time, it's fun! The 2d hand-drawn art style is absolutely amazing and the artist is very talented, and the replacement of hints with "Life advice" is very interesting, providing a medium to see the girls personalities. It's short however, with me only taking about 1.2 hours to complete it, but that doesn't take away from how fun those 80 minutes were. This game is amazing and I look forward to seeing more from this developer. Do yourself a favor and download this, it's free, and if you are a weeb, you won't regret it.

Oh and the soundtrack!? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it good!

Highly would recommend this game, it may be kinda old, the engine may be horrible and the graphics may be on the worse end, but it's amazing. I could spend days playing this game, there has been only a handful of times I put this game down a thought "Hey, I should play something else". Characters are amazing, story, while lacking is still compelling, dlc's are 100% worth it, and so much more. I can't say enough about this game, the only thing a can say that booting this up with some friends is one of the only things that make me truly happy. So buy it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Oh and buy the ultimate edition, it's worth it.

Is there anything about this game that already hasn't been said? I'm just going to keep this short and resist the urge to write a whole essay on this. Maybe my favorite game of all time, it's funny when it needs to be, dumb when it needs to be, and serious when it needs to be. it's perfect, the community is amazing and I can't think of another community I would rather be more invested in, and even if updates are slow to come and the heavy update may never come, this game will forever hold a special place in my heart. Oh and i know everyone has said it, but I'm saying it again, rest in piece rick may.
