I bought this on a whim after it won GOTY going 'there's no way its that good.'

After finishing Act 1, I can proudly say: it is that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good.

Saw a guy get shot and told to speak in Chinese if he wanted to live. 10/10

I wish there was a neutral option because this games core gameloop is really good. Unfortantely, the grind required to unlock things like perks or characters is extreme, and the amount of money you could possibly be spending on buying characters (espesially liscensed ones) can be rough. It also doesn't help that BHVR as of recently has made some questionable balance and design choices (granted they did walk back on a major one). I recommend checking this game out on sale and during one of its "better" periods and seeing if its for you.

The only game I have played that lets you commit complete mass destruction across the solar system before logging into an AOL type instant messenger to talk to your spouse. 10/10.

got nuked at the final objective of a 2 hour mission, losing all my progress. 10/10.

Highly recommend, especially if you’ve read Homestuck. The game definerly does replicate the same feel as the comic through its humor, animations, and design. Even if you haven’t read the comic, I’d still give it a go. The only complaint I have is that it’s abit on the short side, so wait for a sale (if it does) if you’re patient enough.
