1. Fungal Connection:
Mycorrhizal fungi grow on and around the roots of trees, forming tiny threads called mycelium.
2. Network Formation:
This mycelium expands into dense, intricate webs that connect the roots of different trees, even across different species.
3. Resource Exchange:
The network acts as an "information highway," allowing trees to transfer nutrients, water, and carbon to one another, especially to younger or stressed trees.
4. Signal Transmission:
Trees can release chemical signals through the mycelial network when they sense danger, such as an insect infestation. Other connected trees receive these signals and can then activate their own defenses by producing defensive chemicals.
Cubensis: Deep emotional insights, personal processing, mythic or archetypal themes. Feels organic, dreamlike, sometimes confusing but familiar.
Copelandia: Extremely fast, almost digital or laser-like thought loops. Less dreamy, more alien and abstract. Can feel like direct downloads of information rather than “thinking.”
⏳ Time Perception
Cubensis: Time dilation is heavy but you can still sense a passage of hours.
Copelandia: Time can collapse completely. Many report the sense of eternity or the feeling of stepping outside time.
🧍 Ego & Self
Cubensis: Ego dissolution is possible, but often there’s still a thin thread of identity observing it all.
Copelandia: Much more abrupt and total ego loss at this level. Can feel like death, rebirth, or complete merging with the void.
Cubensis 5 g: Overwhelming, but still vaguely “navigable.” Some people can manage the trip with effort.
Copelandia 5 g: Full-blown hyperspace. You won’t be “managing” it — it takes you. This is Ayahuasca/DMT territory in terms of profundity, but stretched over hours.
🛡️ Aftereffects
Cubensis: Fatigue, lingering insights, sometimes a bit of emotional exhaustion.
Copelandia: Often leaves people with a deep sense of awe, shock, or reverence. Some feel renewed clarity, others feel shaken for days. Integration is key.
⚠️ In short:
5 g Cubensis = a very strong psychedelic trip where you still kind of know you ate mushrooms.
5 g Copelandia in silent darkness = crossing into the unknown, possibly indistinguishable from a full mystical death–rebirth experience.
