10/10 Absolutely amazing game, i would most certainly recommend the game to any friends that might be interested in the roguelike genre, and here's why:

1.The artstyle of the game is cartoony, as opposed to the general aesthetic of a more serious battlefield that you would usually associate with a first-person-shooter game, and that gives it the appearance of a nice and casual game while simultaneously providing the game's serious and challenging gameplay with the cute characters that they can easily enjoy.

2.The gameplay, while serious and challenging, no matter how unfair it might have seemed at times, was never something that would anger me or make me want to quit the game; in fact, it actually made me and my friends play more and more, it's fast paced-combat, it's reliance on tactics, technique and cooperation all put together in one roguelike FPS package delivers nothing but the best multiplayer and solo experience that any game has offered since the start of the decade. The 5 (current) characters in the game all come with their own different playstyles and i genuinely believe that there is something for everyone, whether you want to jump in and swing swords, blast enemies with thunder from afar, combine the powers of the elements to unleash the potential of their combination with one another, or just throw explosives, there is something for everybody that can be enjoyed in this game.

3.The difficulty spike isn't that large and no matter at what difficulty or level you play at there is always a chance to win the game, which makes it highly reliant on experience or mechanical prowess; nevertheless, that has never painted the game as really difficult, and i would argue that most of the fun comes with getting acquainted to the game and it's different mechanics and weapons to choose from, all the scrolls that you can find, their synergies with each other, all of which keep the game fresh no matter when you play, what difficulty you play on, or if you're playing alone or with others. The difficulty in this game ramps up together with experience and unlocks, meaning that, no matter what difficulty you play on, you'll never feel underprepared.

4.The sound effects and audio cues in this game are absolutely stunning and i barely ever see them brought up when people talk about the game. Learning and picking up on audio cues for enemy attacks, traps around you, enemy spawns is something you absolutely need to get used to for a better chance of winning the game, and yet it has never been something that was neither completely necessary nor a chore to do. That being said, this game doesn't rely on audio cues for anything that cannot be seen visually, so it can absolutely be enjoyed without any audio; that being said, the audio of this game gives you a perfect idea of what you're doing, what's going on and what's going to happen next, which immerses you more into the game as you focus on what that sound was and where it was coming from (Hint:It was probably an arrow)

All of that being said, that is just my opinion. And while i see this game as absolutely underrated, you don't have to take my word for it. Just try it and you'll see.

This game is an absolutely amazing experience that i feel everyone should go through.

The exploration feels really nice, stumbling upon vultures and gaping holes in the desert and big red caves in the crimson, to diving just a little to low in the dungeon and getting jumpscared by a spinning head.

The movement feels very fluid and boss fights are always so enjoyable to go through, with the boss mechanics never seeming unfair or unbalanced, the drops feeling quite fair.

The progression takes you down the same road of being prepared for anything that comes your way all the way back to being vulnerable to anything that moves in the matter of defeating a boss or two.

You always have a diverse arsenal of weapons, and with so many choices, it never feels like there is no weapon that you could get that would make everything even the slightest bit easier.

The 4 classes are all interesting in their own way, although the summoner class feels really boring to go through.

Of the 300 hours i played this game for as of making this review i have never had a moment of boredom or anger, it has been an insanely fun experience to play both alone and with friends.

Terraria's building is absolutely insane, making building almost anything possible with almost no limitations.

I feel like this game is SEVERELY underpriced and was made by a good company that knows how to make a good game.

Early Access Review
This game is probably the most disgusting experience i've ever had with a game.

Balancing is absolute dogsh... a lot of weapons take literally no skill to use and can be used to completely bullsh... fights around with no chance of ever retaliating.

limited time game modes that take up the whole queue, making it unplayable and forcing whoever wants to play that queue to swap to a different queue or play the limited time game mode which usually isn't even that good

I wish nothing more than either the devs fixing the game and making it playable or just letting it die out completely
