There are a lot of strange design choices throughout the game. Punishing traps, enemies dealing massive damage, the lack of rewards from bosses. Some of the challenges are worth struggling for, others seem intentionally frustrating or overly punishing. I'm the sort of person who loves taking on a challenge. Fighting for hours against a tough boss, or climbing a towering mountain with everything stacked against me. If your the same sort of person, then I can earnestly recommend Silksong. If your in the great majority of people who aren't. Then this game isn't for you, and likely won't be even after extensive patches.

Falling down this rabbit hole of a game was amazing. I rarely find games that have such a wholesome and warm sense of community, with a fun game play loop. Highly recommend.
