Don't let anyone fool you into thinking this is a good game because it's not. I finished this in about 10 hours while playing with a friend and we probably had a good time for about one hour in total. The game is just unbelievably boring: most of the game is just walking or crouching through janky, ugly and uninspired levels. The only good levels are the ones where the player needs to run away from monsters while dodging obstacles. Those were actually very fun but there were only two of those. The game tries to use "puzzles" to spice up the gameplay but they weren't really puzzles at all since they were so incredibly easy all the time.

Some of the levels are just blatantly broken or didn't work the way they were supposed to. In the cave level, for example, we were locked out of proceeding because we just couldn't get the damn door to open and we had to restart the game multiple times to get it to work. Like come on, I know that this is an "indie game" but they are charging 10 euros for this but they could at least try to make it not feel like your typical game on 1001Games.

The game tries very hard to be scary, but it just doesn't work at all. The monsters are incredibly goofy and the bad levels design certainly doesn't help.

By far the worst level was the "Children birthday party"- level where we had to find multiple keys from different rooms to advance. The level itself was very boring from start to finish and any enjoyment we got was utterly destroyed by the worst sounding "children song made creepy"- song ever. It was so incredibly annoying and it just kept going and going and going and going.

I really don't know who this game is for. It's just so boring, even with friends. Escape the Backrooms falls into the "goofy streamer game"- category, like fall guys, among us, lethal company, GTA V etc. But some of those games are actually good and this is not, this is just terrible. One of the worst games I have tried in quite a long time and I am not looking forward to any new levels or updates since after posting this review I will uninstall this game and never download it again. It's actually impressive how they managed make a walking simulator twice as boring.

If you ever feel useless, just remember that Kurenai tried to put Itachi under a genjutsu or that thousands of people around the world have completed Escape the Backrooms more than once.

Score: 3/10

The best game out of the Dark Souls trilogy. Dark Souls 3 edges out the first entry in the trilogy with its bosses, combat, graphics and most importantly, consistency. Had Dark Souls 1 kept the quality of the first half all the way through, my opinion could be different. DS3 never felt like it was slowing down or that the quality dropped at any point of the game. If anything, it only got better as I progressed and reached an amazing climax that towers above the other two (mainly Dark Souls 2 since the ending of Dark Souls 1 was really good too).

One of the best games I have ever played and my second favorite Soulsborne after Elden Ring.
You will play this game at some point, whether you like it or not. I'll make sure of it.

The "hate" that Dark Souls 2 gets is mostly deserved, but highly exaggerated. The game has a ton of issues and thus doesn't reach the same level as its predecessor, which is the biggest problem. It's a good game but when sandwiched between two stronger entries in the Soulsborne series, it falls quite short due to its lackluster bosses (and their staggering amount), extremely annoying boss runs, weird level designs and probably the most underwhelming ending to any game I have ever played. At some point I didn't feel like playing anymore because it was that disappointing and frustrating.

Dark Souls 2 does a few things better than Dark Souls 1, though. The combat feels more fleshed out, and its build variety (with the ability to change your build during the playthrough) allows more options for players. And it looks better.

I would still recommend this game to all fans of the genre, but don't set your expectations too high.

With the release of the newest entry in the Soulsborne series, Elden Ring, one would think that the first Dark Souls game would get completely overshadowed due to its age. But Dark Souls stands as a landmark in video gaming. Twelve years after its release it still holds up to today's standards and challenges new players with difficult bosses and levels.

While I think Dark Souls is a very difficult game for new players, I do think that it's difficulty is highly exaggerated. It's like it has an aura that is impenetrable for most casual gamers due to its reputation and notoriously elitist community. I honestly think anyone can beat the game with if they want to. Especially if they choose to use shields and magic, since players can cheese every boss with them, although at that point you're not really playing Dark Souls. But if played "fairly", the game is a real challenge.

Unfortunately Dark Souls has shown some signs of aging. Most of the bosses have 3-4 moves on average with very little variety and that can cause disappointment after struggling through a level. Also some of the levels, most notably Demon Ruins, Lost Izalith and Crystal Cave, feel a bit unfinished. To top it all off, those areas have arguably the worst bosses in the entire game and one of them being probably the hottest piece of garbage FromSoftware has ever produced. The graphics and performance are still solid, especially with the remastered version running at 60 fps. I have no complaints about the graphics. If anything, they only add to the dark and gritty experience.

The main levels are almost all very well made. They feel challenging and give players the satisfaction they want when beaten. They also reward players for exploring with shortcuts, bonfires and loot. Some of the optional levels are also pretty fun.

I mentioned earlier that the bosses are somewhat lacking, with a few exceptions. Dark Souls simply cannot compare to Elden Ring in terms of boss quality, and I think that's the biggest difference (along with the visuals) the 11-year gap has caused. Still, the base game has a few amazing bosses and the DLC elevates the boss design to completely new heights. One of them even reaching the level of Elden Ring's best bosses.

Simply an amazing game with only a couple of flaws.

The first 10 hours of the game are very fun. You don't yet know how the game works and it's genuinely very scary. However you quickly realize that the game is not scary at all. You also realize that it's not very fun either. Actually you realize that it's a very mediocre game. The main objective is sometimes very frustrating to achieve and most of the time you run out of sanity so that you just have to give up. The ghosts all work the same with no different mechanics and every single game feels exactly the same. Sometimes the ghost just kills you for the ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles.

The first 10 hours: 8/10

After that: 4.5/10

Simply an amazing game. The bosses are fun, the exploration is exciting and the combat system is well executed. After defeating a boss the game always gives you an item that unlocks new stuff and makes you want to play more. Visuals can be a little rough around the edges, but considering how well the game runs that's not an issue. Multiplayer is one of the best I have ever seen, it works flawlessly and only enhances the experience.
At 20 bucks this game is a steal and it's on sale very often AND on top of all that the game just keeps getting free updates. It wipes the floor with most AAA games and is right up there as one of the best open world games ever.

One of the best games I've ever played. Elden Ring features a gargantuan world with countless sideguests and items, incredible bosses, beautiful visuals, an amazing soundtrack and of course, FromSoftware's signature combat system. Elden Ring will stand the test of time as one of the greatest games ever made.

CS:GO Review
Honestly no one is playing CSGO because it's a good game. It's not a good game. You're playing it because other people play it and because it's competitive. You want to feel the adrenaline rush when you carry your team and get rewarded with a rank-up. And CSGO can give you that. As a casual game it's horrendous.

Soloqueue is never fun. It just never is. CSGO puts so much emphasis on communication and teamwork, but you will rarely find a teammate who
1. has a functioning microphone
2. speaks the same language as you
3. is willing to engage in a verbal exchange with you
4. is worth talking to

Even when playing with a full squad of friends the game can only be fun when you hit your shots. That's about one out of three games on average.

However, just because CSGO is never fun doesn't mean that it's a bad game. It's just not supposed to be fun.

Buggy game with lackluster visuals and poor special effects, wet dreams and cornball acts with a poor netcode and a horrible client to top it all off. Commercially redeemed by its party game aspect, fun mechanics and goofy maps.

No but seriously, it's just a fun little game to play with your friends. It's nothing to write home about but it serves its purpose decently.
