The skill bar of the game is definitly not the smallest but once you start getting used to timing your moves and tracking what the enemy is doing then it becomes much easier but it can take a while if your new to fighting games. There is an extensive range of characters and more coming which is one of the biggest perks about the game because you can play as almost anyone you want. The game is lacking in the story mode which kinda of sucks but the only way it's lacking is with cut scenes and sorta minimal story lines, there are currently 8 storys i belive some notable one being trunks, goku, goku black, and freiza, now this is still many many hours of game play and will get you much better at the game and fans will always want more but overall it is still very good, the online modes are also usually pretty good and you can find people to play with easily and at your skill level with some connection issues, there is also training where it can show you every single move in the game. There are also outfits, abilities, skins, player cards, emotes, shenron, acheivments, and much more. There is also an extensive list of maps and namek in specific is destructable where it can go to the destroyed lava like version. Some characters even have special dialouge specific to those 2 like goku and trunks for example. it is also all scaled to how the show would be with amazing graphics and gameplay and ultamite attacks. Overall the game is amazing and completely worth the 75$ with tax price tag. I'd say the ultamite or deluxe pack dlc isnt neccasary but the pre order pack is good for the low price and quick progression. The Battle pass or the season pass that is coming out may also be worth it because of the characters that come with it but there hopefully will be a way not to pay for them because they are crucial to the game and also the season pass has a pretty extensive price tag.
