I just finished my first playthrough on hard mode difficulty. The bosses transform into HP sponges, absorbing all sources of damage. However, the jiggle physics and the goddess from the Nexus mod came to my aid. The bosses were hard, but I was harder. 10/10 must play.

My life was replaced by pixels representing anime girls the instant I hit that huge green 'play' button. I can confidently state that this game is worth the fine uninstall of my awful real life. Now I can finally initiate lesbian activities with my straight and gay bros as we all become women. 10 out of 10 score on the enjoyment meter.

After 46 hours of pure agony, I have come to a realization of this game is absolutely trash. It started strong, mid game felt nice. However, it started to fall off from the start of chapter 4. The level design and boss mechanic is absolutely down horrendous, every death felt unfair and down to luck. I think I would rather die in a car crash than playing any bosses after chapter 4 beside Honglan. Large bosses' movements are hard to read, camera tweak out in narrow area or when a large enemy is up close, levels are full of enemies that give you surprise attack very so often. Some enemies are too close to the edge of a cliff, make me fall off as my combo push me forward. Elevators are hella slow and can easily get stuck (chapter 5). I'm done with the game, got the best ending. Goodbye.

Best 30 bucks I have ever spend on a soul like game. Counter field is nice to hit and the boss designs are so unique and cool. The story is great. I like the quite linear maps that allow the players to collect everything without being overwhelmed. The empty feeling + the way story progress is exciting, the final reveal is great too. 100% recommend for anyone looking for an anime soul like.
