i hate this game and i love this game

This is the perfect game for a low budget model railroad enthusiast.

I absolutely love this game. I'm a big model railroad enthusiast, and I enjoy running trains at both my model railroad club or just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ oval on my bedroom floor. I've always wanted to have a proper model layout but never had the resources or space to make one. This game solves all of that.

I originally found out about this game from an Instagram post from the developer. after reading up about it i was instantly interested in the game i bought it only a few days later. My first few layouts were a bit to big or detailed for my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ old laptop, but i still enjoyed making all of them.

As i mentioned earlier this game solved all of my problems with having a real model layout. For example your only real space limitation is how good your computer is. Another thing i found annoying about real layouts is buying trains and rolling stock. For example one good Loco in HO can cost around $200 dollars. In this game you have absolutely no cost to anything making it extremely easy to make any kind of train you want. And the game itself is only $20. If i had built all of the layouts I've made in this game i would have easily spent thousands of dollars.

Another thing about this game that i have to mention is the near constant updates. This game has been out for more that 2 years and is still getting almost weekly updates. One of the main things that keeps me playing is "what will be added this week?"

I love the amount and variety of Props in this game, and while some like vehicles somewhat lack in diversity or numbers, I'm confident that at some point that will be addressed and improved. While i'm on the subject of minor criticism another thing slightly lacking in this game it the overall roster of available trains. A fact that becomes completely irrelevant once you start getting into quickmods. I've also heard from the dev that quickmods are going to be added to the steam workshop which will be great since currently they are split between a discord i cant access (not important. don't ask) and a forum website, and putting them on the workshop will unify the two.

Another id like to say is how addicting this game is. I have so much fun with so many different things in it that i have to keep a list of projects i want to work on, just so i don't forget what liveries i want to make or what layouts i have planned.

Edit: another thing i wanted to mention is how good of a quarantine game this is. for that last month or so i've had this game open almost nonstop, and the only time i've quit is to load in more mod/liveries or to update it.

Overall this is an amazing game especially since its been developed by a single guy for over 2 years. I'll probably think of even more good i could say about this game after i post this review. Keep up the good work, and i cant wait to see what comes next.
