If you're a new player you should play the campaign but also be prepared to get stomped on in multiplayer, because there's people who never stopped playing this game (because it's so good)
the guns are also good. :)

Some general pointers for newbies are that all titans are generally good except for scorch because he's slow and close-range, and tone maybe considering that he's sort of low-skill (but also definitely not overpowered, i think)

as a dedicated user of the EPG it helps for some weapons to predict where someone's going to be and shoot there, instead of just shooting at them.
