i absolutely love this game. you know whiplash? it tests your rhythm like that. it is no-doubt one of the hardest rhythm games out there and thats why i love it. you cannot rush, you cannot slow-down, you have to follow the rhythms EXACTLY. it is so so SO difficult, and i admire that.

it's coded really well too. the devs know how to move windows around, how to stutter screens, these guys know how to do alot with the screen and computer, it really makes you feel immersed in the game.

the only and i mean ONLY problem i have is with the boss fights, because for some reason, every cutscene is not a checkpoint, a cutscene could be like 30 seconds long or so and that won't count as a checkpoint, so you either have to restart the entire boss or restart half-way through, which i am not the biggest fan of, because most of the boss fight cutscenes are also un-skippable. i also don't like how you cant use your mouse in the windowed sections.

i guess thats where some of the charm comes from in this game too though, it tests your endurance to keep the rhythm, no matter how long. i still wish cutscenes were a checkpoint in the boss-fights.

i still highly recommend this game, it's hard, and i mean it, which more rhythm games should be. the songs are also all bangers.

WARNING: IF YOU WANT TO GET THE NEW NFL PRO ERA 2025, IT WILL MOST LIKELY NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR PCVR. IT SEEMS THAT THEY HAVE CEASED ALL UPDATES TO PCVR, AND HAVE SWITCHED TO THE QUEST 2/3. AND APPARENTLY THE DEFENSE UPDATE ON QUEST 2/3 IS ALSO PAID. IT IS NOT A FREE UPDATE.

IF YOU HAVE PLAYED FOR LESS THAN 2 HOURS AND ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND, I WOULD RECOMMEND GETTING ONE.

Nice way to treat your PCVR people StatusPro.

Pros:
- Visually stunning, like genuinely unbelievable.
- Physically Accurate. Break coconut shells, then break the coconut itself. Kill a lizard, skin a lizard, hit two rocks together to start a fire.
- Devs are very committed to making the game better and are open to feedback.
- Everything is accurate down to a TEE.

Cons:
- Very Repetitive. Go here, start a fire to survive the night, go back to the beach to open some chests, head back to the forest, start a fire to survive the night.
- Physics can be janky.
- Annoying sometimes. Having to go back and forth between the forest and the beach to open a few chests gets very annoying after awhile.
-Narrator is constantly in your ear. You can turn him down but you shouldn't have to in the first place.

All in all, my review isnt super accurate, you'd have to try the game for yourself, but if you like survival games with (what I assume) no endings, then I think you'd like this.

This might be single handedly, one of the best choice making story games out there. Never, in my entire life, have I played a choice making story game that has been better than Detroit: Become Human.

I cried over a few scenes, I was angry over certain scenes, and this game, actually made me think, and it made me think hard.

The game looks phenomenal, and it feels so good to play, every single thing you do in this game actually matters, even if its just one quick time event, or one singular choice.

You will find yourself conflicted, angry, sad, confused, surprised, and happy, in nearly every single choice you make, and trust me, this game will not be afraid to completely shatter you mentally.

And the soundtrack, Oh My God. It might be one of the best soundtracks, ever in a video game. It adds so much character to every scene, every character, every choice, it is so good.

If you want a masterpiece of a story game where choices actually matter, and trust me, they do. Get Detroit: Become Human. You will not regret it at all. You will feel like you are in a Shakespeare story.

If you can, I would recommend getting all the achievements too, and playing through it multiple times, it is such an amazing feeling.

PS: Please also read other positive reviews, as I am not the best writer and probably did not capture how genuinely perfect this game is.

Awful launch. Still doesnt have an offline mode, hasnt even added the unready button yet, or any features that should've been added at launch, repetitive and extremely boring. And then they had the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ audacity to sell the pre-order bonuses got for like 4 bucks to the public. Shame.
