Ya hate to see it. It reminds me of how Treebeard must have felt in the LOTR after he carried the Hobbits to the border of Fangorn Forest and was able to see the treachery of Saruman and all of the trees that he had ripped from the ground to fuel his war machine, many of whom Treebeard was friends with and had known since they were just acorns and seedlings before being roused to war at the Entmoot by the hobbits and marching to overthrow the tyranny of Saruman. SO yeah, pretty sad to see.
