Absolute gem of a game, I've made so many good memories playing this with my group. If you're looking for a chaotically good time, a fun game for a quick hangout session, or even something to do in your free time with solo runs, PEAK is the game for you. I'm looking forward to future updates and future titles, great work! 10/10

I flipped a coin, and it landed heads, so I'm putting in a positive review! Nah, just kidding. Nothing crazy to say about the game, but its fun and addictive, that's what matters. I'm looking forward to seeing what the next title under your belt will be!

So many delays for what is by far one of the worst "Sonic" games to date. Every single aspect of this game screams greed. The fabled battle pass made its way into this one, however, there's not just one, there's not just two, but 3 right off the bat. Absolute cinema. Unfortunately, that's not all that you're gonna be spending the big bucks on if you're actually trying to be anywhere near qualified for leaderboard status because they also have the option to outright buy abilities to give you an upper hand. I wanted to love this game because I enjoyed Fall Guys during its time, and this is just Sonic's version, but the devs fumbled the ball big time with this dumpster fire of a game.

For $1 you get what is arguably the best looking aesthetic set in the game, at least in my opinion. I'd recommend purchasing it if you enjoy the 'Astral' theme!

Tl;Dr - This game can be summed up into one phrase, "Great idea, bad execution."

Overall, its a solid 6/10 for me. It wasn't the worst game I've ever played, but it has plenty of room for improvement. Most of the negatives I give this game down below actually look like they've been fixed in the second game, at least judging from the short trailer I've seen on its store page, so that's pretty cool.

The main reason for the negative review is the grappling hook. The grapple is, quite literally, a huge hit or miss depending on how the game is feeling. Considering this is the mechanic the game was built around, it was not implemented well enough. I wish that was the only flaw I believe this game had, but that's just not the case. What comes to mind is the overall speed of the game, WORLD 3, and one specific enemy type.

I wasn't expecting Sonic level speed, but what we got is downright disappointing. There wasn't a single moment during my play-through that I wasn't thinking about how slow my character was. This only got worse when trying to do the time trails. An actual sprint would've gone a long way, but instead we got a worse version of the Mario 3 P-Speed.

Most of the game's level/world design felt solid, I'll give it that, but the entirety of World 3 can kiss my ass. World 3 had every single problem with this game in it at once. From the broken grappling mechanic, to the worst enemy type this game had to offer, they were all here. World 3 was over-punishing for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Absolutely atrocious locations for the grappling surfaces, many of which simply had you dangling over lava and multiple fireball spawners where the only solution was to either raw dog it and soak the damage or hope and pray that you can even gain enough momentum to swing in the first place. To top it all off, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 'Snake' enemy type is introduced in World 3. This horrible creature is not only unkillable, but once you spawn it, it doesn't leave until you beat the level. You'd think that with an enemy like this you could simply outpace it, but no, you simply cannot. If you off screen it, it will reappear directly in front of where you are trying to go to cut you off. You can't outrun it, you can't damage it, you can't jump over it, you can't have fun when its around. It might be one of the worst enemy types out there and they use it in too many levels to justify it.

This game isn't only all negatives though, as I said the World/Level design is overall solid. The soundtrack has a 'Jet Set Radio' feel to it and I just got done playing through 'Bomb Rush Cyberfunk' right before this, so it hit with me. The characters are full of life and enjoyable to interact with. The game's aesthetic is beautiful and feels like a mix of old-school GBA style with a modern touch-up. It's not bad by any means, but the negatives were just too prominent for me to give it the good ol' thumbs up.

Another game that looks decent in the game trailers, but ultimately fails to deliver. I cannot express how boring this game is. It's dressed to look like a survival game, but its legit just a dinosaur walking simulator. The game's visuals aren't appealing to look at and the gameplay itself is just a buggy disaster. The only good thing I have to say about this game is that the dinosaurs look and sound pretty good. That alone isn't enough to save this game though lmao. If you're looking for a good dinosaur game, you gotta look elsewhere, you won't find it here.

The game could've been so much more, but unfortunately they failed to deliver. The online is dead, so don't expect to find any matches if you actually purchase this game. The most you can really do is customize your character and play custom matches with bots. The gameplay itself, while being a super cool concept, was underwhelming and did not live up to the hype of the trailer. Hopefully another game can pull off something like this, but until then, avoid playing this one.

I played this game for a little while back in Season 1 and, even with its major flaws, I enjoyed it for what it was. Fast forward to today, that being Season 10, and it's just a nightmare. It is EXTREMELY unfriendly to new players and returning players alike because they've added even more mechanics that make already busted characters even more toxic. I thought Shigaraki was bad back in the day, but they've outdone themselves with newer characters like Twice and Kurogiri, be ready for an absolutely horrible experience if you come across either one. I would recommend staying away from this one, even though I love MHA, this game just doesn't do it justice.

Overall, this game was pretty decent. It's short and sweet, the dialogue was well written and comedic, and the gameplay loop didn't get too repetitive. I'd recommend giving the game a shot if you're looking for something to pass a few hours.
