Where do I even begin, I have been on the lookout for the release of this game since its very first days of being revealed; something about it just struck me as profound, like the developers themselves knew what the audience wanted from a modern RPG, like they actually played the games people love and rave about to this day themselves, and they took inspiration from fan favorites to deliver to the gaming community an experience like never before. The game's unique take on the genre might be what's most flashy when you first take a gander at this game, but it is so, so much more than that. The incredibly well-written story, characters that seem far from perfect and are adorned with beautiful human flaws, a gorgeous landscape that you could just lose yourself in; all of this at the measly price of 49.99$ might just be the biggest robbery known to mankind. It sets a precedent that big companies need to learn from to hope to achieve anything nearly as impactful. The story behind how this game came to be was astonishingly inspiring and I was dumbfounded at how small the team behind this one of a kind masterpiece was, really goes to show how if passion is the leading factor, other things will all come naturally, but alas I digress; if you're somehow on the fence about playing this game for one reason or another, be it not liking the fact its turn based or how distasteful games with the same production value can be, please just give it a shot, I can almost assure you that you will NOT be disappointed. There are truly not enough words to describe the experience this game put me through, and I would do anything to experience that again.
