The M142 HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) is an American rocket artillery system. It is produced by one of the divisions of Lockheed Martin. Unlike most Soviet multiple launch rocket systems that use unguided ammunition, HIMARS has in its arsenal guided high-precision GMLRS missiles with a range of up to 80 km, and the MGM-140 ATACMS missile has a range of 300 km.
