Ready or Not was supposed to be the tactical shooter for mature players — raw, grounded, unfiltered. It wasn’t afraid to make you uncomfortable. It didn’t hold your hand or sanitize the harsh realities of law enforcement. That’s why we loved it. That’s why we supported it from day one.

And now? You're censoring it. For a console release.

Are you serious?

You teased a school shooting mission. You marketed it as something bold, realistic, and not afraid to tackle difficult subjects. And now — because it’s “too sensitive” — you’re cutting it entirely? You're scrubbing out violent imagery, drug references, hostage situations… the very things that made this game stand out?

That’s cowardly.
That’s selling out.
And it’s NOT the game we supported in Early Access.

You told us there would be no compromises. You said you were independent. That this game was for us — the players who didn’t want another watered-down shooter chasing a Teen rating. We bought into your vision. We stuck around through bugs and missing features because we believed in the end goal.

Now you're chasing console sales, bending over for platform guidelines, and gutting the game’s identity to please a “wider audience”?

No.

If you strip Ready or Not of what made it powerful — if you neuter it to appease console publishers — you’re not just losing your soul.

You’re losing us.

We aren’t your beta testers.
We aren’t just another audience to be marketed to.

We are the community that made this game what it is — and we will not stand by while you destroy it.
