Martin Mullen AKA Houndrover takes to the streets of New Antioch with his trusty pit bull companion, Artemis! His crusade against crime sprang from the confluence of two passions: protecting the people of the city from ruthless gangsters and combatting a pernicious breed-specific legislation campaign mounted by elite doggie racists. He hopes that the courage and heroism displayed by his canine co-pilot will prove that all living beings are blank slates without instinct or innate behavioral traits, and despite the edicts of his archnemesis Kennelmaster,"dog breeds” are merely a social construction. Artemis and her wigglebutt can attest to the fact that pit bulls are by far the best dogs to own and are naturally inclined to be tender and sweet, unlike aggressive chihuahuas which actually bite more frequently! Fun fact: these velvet hippos were originally bred as nanny dogs!
