What is Rust?

It’s survival of the FITTEST . You spawn naked, cold, hungry, and confused. You don’t play Rust. You endure it.

I AM SPAWN. I come from water, wet and afraid, holding one rock and zero pants. I punch tree. Tree don’t punch back — victory. I make stick, make fire, cook meat, BURN SELF. Why? Because nature hates me. Sun is hot, wolves are faster than me, and goose make scary noise. One man run past screaming “THEY TOOK THE OIL!” I laugh. Then he stab me. I respect this.

Next day, I wake again. Naked AGAIN. Find big base. I knock. Man scream “LEAVE!” I dance instead. He shoot me with gun made of metal and pain. I come back with seven torch bros. We yell at wall for thirty minutes. It does nothing. Then I eat mushroom, see God, and fall off cliff. Respawn. Still naked. This is circle of life, but worse. Circle of Rust.

I have wife now. Her name is Bucket. It is actual bucket I drew smile on. She listen when I scream at moon. Someone stole her. Now I am war. I eat raw chicken for strength. I run through snow yelling “BUCKET!” over and over. Find man with bucket. Wrong bucket. Still kill. Take bucket anyway. That’s how it go in Rust. That’s how it always go.
