Cannot believe we are already at the end of 2025. What a fantastic and productive year it has been. And with 2026 almost here...it is time to get ready for some pretty big and pretty cool changes to come...starting with my Blog Format :D SO HERE WE GO!
2025 had some awesome moments. I got to move back to the city I previously lived in towards the middle of this year. Didn't think I'd make it back home, but here I am, after a long year away, and I couldn't be happier. I am still in disbelief some days when I look outside. It took hard work and a lot of discipline, but it really made me grow up and learn about strength I didn't know I possessed. I have been working two jobs non-stop and have finally been able to work towards what I want to be doing in my life. It took going through hell to get here, but I've survived it.
All that drive definitely translated into pushing myself more in the art world as well. I became more focused on making my art presence known, becoming dedicated to this amazing community that offered me opportunities I could only dream of. I have met incredible individuals on here with phenomenal talent and the kindest of hearts and I am really grateful, at the end of this year, to be considered a contributing member of this community.
I completed some really cool projects this year, my favorites being:
The Today's Future Problem Online Exhibit! :D Got to put my dang Fine Art degree to use and celebrate 30 Years on this awesome site! Experimented with different styles throughout art history while paying homage to some of our favorite Newgrounds' series and creators!
Serving Up MADNESS...a heckin' game I actually made X'D As stated many times before, I never dream this possible, to make a functioning, fun-to-play game in any sort of shape or form. It was a fantastic experience that taught me a lot, got to work with two incredible creators on here to bring it altogether. And it is definitely something I want to look at further exploring in the future.
A collection of collabs I joined this year, from collages to games to movies! It helped me meet some incredible new artists and feel closer to the community as a whole, and I cannot wait to join loads more in the New Year! :D
Something I have unfortunately been neglecting is my health ^^; It's expensive and stupid and I try my best to just ignore it because I just can't deal with it right now, but it is starting to get in the way of my productivity. I've been getting ill more often, been having to take naps every day to function well enough to get work done, and it is getting annoying now XD
I am hoping in the New Year, I can start addressing some of it better, by going and seeing the doctors I need to (and affording it, that is sadly a big factor) so that I can keep up with all my plans for the New Year, while also feeling healthy while doing it all.
I also hope to just open up more about my health struggles but...we shall see XD
