What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The feedback for "Dodge the Wall!" that we've received so far from the community has been very helpful and positive! We want to open up the game to a larger audience to get more eyes on the game in order to continue to get some constructive feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It's hard to make predictions, but with the current state of development the best estimate for a full release would be by Winter 2019.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“There are a number of features and improvements that we would want to get finished before a full release. A few of the ideas in the pipeline are the following:

  • Additional game modes that expand upon the base wall-dodging functionality
  • Expanded single player functionality, such as achievements, that can drive replay value
  • A better defined Local Multiplayer mode
  • Verified support for additional headset types

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently Dodge the Wall! has an Arcade-type mode where players can spin up the gameshow and dodge a number of variously shaped walls.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Currently the game is Free to Play. Things are still up in the air about whether we will monetize through adding a price in the full release or through adding some DLC with new content.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Please send us your feedback and suggestions for how to improve gameplay! We're so grateful for the responses we've gotten so far and would love some more. We will be posting updates through our Steam forum and subreddit in order to drive more discussion.”
