Subnautica is a bit of a glitchy mess at times, but as a game it's extremely absorbing, as a world it's beautiful and as a concept it's novel; very few survival games also have enchanting narratives.

Terraria isn't as good as Minecraft as a creativity tool- but as a challenging game, it actually exceeds Minecraft by a considerable margin. Well worth your time, and even better with friends.

Far from perfect, but at its best Titanfall 2 is everything Brink wanted to be; fast, fluid and very very fun.

Best enjoyed on a controller or better yet, on a portable console, Bastion is a fast, fun and surprisingly absorbing beat-em-up with a wonderful soundtrack and involving story.

FTL: Faster Than Light is a rougelike strategy game that gets as close to perfect as any game I can think of. Wish it had a multiplayer mode.

The best Fallout game ever made, and probably the best western RPG. Fallout NV is also a superior, albeit uglier version of what Skyrim was trying to be.
