This is it, the climax of a trilogy. Base game brings a great end to it, but if you really want to experience good fanservice, and feel the entire trilogy end, Ringed City is the DLC to get.

No, Dark Souls 2 is not a bad game. It's clunky, it's slow, it aged very poorly, but anyone into the series really should give it a fair shot, without bias.

Dark Souls is an old game, and you can feel it through its gameplay, but it will forever be a great game, where it all started. If anyone wants to get into the series, definitely start here.
