It's a bit tedious but you don't really need to trade so hard to get silver coins. From the moment you invented pirate's coin, do money laundry by buying stuffs with pirate coins, followed by selling them, repeatedly. Once you decide to stop and let the day slip, the exchange rate between silver coin and pirate's coin will slump, so that you can no longer do it with a satisfying efficiency. You'll need a while to let it recover then the next laundry.

Oh if you mean tricks in this game it’s mostly about money laundering, but it isn’t really considered cheating though. Just buy merchandises with pirate coins and sell them repeatedly and massively as you pleased in one single time. In short, you doing QE like the US gov. As for quantity, a few millions are enough. That process can be performed at the very moment you start issuing pirate’s coins. It doesnt have to be done at the early stage of the game but I thought you meant cheating on someone so, it’s not really that case after all.

I played it on itch.io client, but I did not want to give up game progress on the free version so I pasted savedata to the new folder.
It didn't work and ended at chapter 2. If I start over, will it proceed to Chapter 3? I'm kind of worried now.
