  • Hello there, Our development team is actively working on this issue, and we expect to release an update within the next half an hour that will include an option to remove the banner.

Please know that our intention was never to cause any inconvenience. The banner was added to inform our users about an upcoming major update. We wanted to ensure you were fully aware of the release so that you wouldn’t unknowingly update the plugin and potentially face issues on your site. With this update, there will be significant changes to the plugin structure, which could cause unexpected changes on your site. We deeply value our users and aim to prevent any issues, which is why the banner was introduced.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.

Please use the normal notification system from WordPress for that. Now it looks like an add and I don’t read it. The text doesn’t give any information about possible breaking changes, but only shouts “I’m an ad and I won’t go away!”. A banner also shouldn’t be placed on every dashboard page. If necessary place it only on the main dashboard and on your own plugin page. Nowhere else!

Hi there, We’ve already released the update. Please update the plugin to the latest version, and you can use the cross button to remove the banner.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to let us know!

The close button has low contrast so it’s not a great solution. The banner still looks like an ad and doesn’t warn me for possible breaking changes. The banner is still on every page where it doesn’t belong.

So your plugin still violates the plugin guidelines.
