    Is theer a veriosn to get this to work in block editor and block widget options. Switching back to legacy widgets will break other widgets on the site.

    Hi David,

    You can try activating the Classic Widgets plugin just to add the Profile Search widget to a widget area, then deactivate Classic Widgets. Does that work for you?
