• Hi, there is a conflict with Elementor. The last working version of Elementor working with Sydney Pro is 3.25.11. All newer versions do not work (it is impossible to edit any posts/pages in Elementor – the loading spinner runs all the time). It is also not a matter of plugin conflict (all plugins were off to check it). I contacted Elementor support team and they confirmed it is a matter of the theme. How to fix it?

  • Hi @konradpiotr,

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble.

I’m afraid that I cannot reproduce this issue on my end using version 3.29.2 of Elementor and Sydney version: 2.54. Here is a screen cast.

Would you mind letting me know if you can see any JavaScript errors on the console when you try to edit your pages with Elementor?

    Thank you!

Hi @kmacharia and thanks for your reply. I have got Sydney Pro 4.0.0. and Sydney Pro Child theme. Elementor 3.25.11 and Elementor Pro 3.25.5. All newer versions of Elementor ends with the conflict and editing not possible, as I mentioned before. There are no Java Script errors seen in my Elementor console (however I’m not sure where I should find them). I tried also with Sydney free newest theme and the same results. It is strange but even if I switch to Hello theme which is native Elementor theme, the problem still exists. Perhaps there are some remainings or custom CSS code in conflict with the plugin. Maybe I should build the website again from the clear WordPress.

    Hey @konradpiotr

Thank you for the additional details.

Since you are using the paid version of the theme, would you mind dropping us a message via our support page and sharing temporary access to your site so that we can take a look? Feel free to add a link to this conversation and our team will be happy to take it from here.

    Thank you!
