Conflict with WP-Fail2ban

With WP-Fail2ban installed and active, the Theme My Login login page does not forward to the WP dashboard.
Steps to reproduce:
- Install Theme My Login
- Install and set up WP_Fail2ban
- Enter login details into the Theme My Login login page
- Press Log In button: redirection to dashboard does not occur
- Add /wp-admin to URL in browser’s address bar: dashboard loads, showing that user has logged in
