Hi guys! I made a fresh installation of WordPress 6.8.1 and TranslatePress 2.9.17, using the default theme, no other plugins installed.

When clicking on the Automatic Translation tab, I see an error printed:
    apply_filters(”, Array) #2 ….
    #9 {main} thrown in …/wp-content/plugins/translatepress-multilingual/includes/mtapi/functions.php on line 27

I received an email from WordPress with a critical bug description containing:
Uncaught Error: Undefined constant “TRANSLATE_PRESS” in …/wp-content/plugins/translatepress-multilingual/includes/mtapi/functions.php:27

I did not buy any Pro-Addons or Premium version yet, I assumed I could use Google Translate on the free version for automatic translation.

    Anyone experiencing a similar issue?

    Hi,

Thank you for reporting this. You can use Google Translate with the free version, yes.

But it’s a bug we introduced in the latest version. The solution is to revert to the previous version using https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rollback/ We’ll get this sorted as soon as possible.

    Best Regards!

    Hi,

The issue was fixed. Simply update to the latest version 2.9.18 and it should be fine.

Again, thank you for reporting this!

    Best Regards!
