Hide Author in Posts?

    Hi! Thanks for making such a nice and clean theme!

    I wonder, if it’s possible to hide the author in posts? I tried

    .page-byline {
    display:none
    }

    But it didn’t work, and I assume that would hide the date and category as well.

    Because I use a single author to posts everything on website.

    OK I created a child theme and deleted some codes from single.php and so now it works as intended. Not sure if it’s the right way to do so though.
