I should have added that the default message does not show.
Maybe a bug? An Elementor issue?
Use the following shortcode to add the cart:
[always_show_wp_shopping_cart]
This shortcode will always show the cart (even if the cart is empty).
You can also use the available blocks to insert the cart on your page or sidebar. Try the different options that are available to see if there is one that you like:
