A month+ ago, my admin panel showed two update notifications for Koko migration. The first one worked and the notification went away. The second notification – “Koko Analytics needs to migrate your referrer stats to a new storage format – etc” when clicked, it looks like the page is reloading and after about 30 seconds the reloading bar disappears and nothing happens. The notification stays in the wp admin panel.
Checked the debug log and nothing related to Koko was there so I guess migration is timing out before PHP can log an error?

I don’t use the CLI and only access the analytics through the WP admin screen.

Thanks for the help! We have a lot of stats and I don’t want to lose them.

    Hi @sfget,

This is most likely due to the plugin failing to migrate a handful of referrer / date combinations to the new format because of primary key issues, but luckily this migration is mostly just a visual thing (removing the HTTP protocol and www. prefix) so it is not that critical nor is there any risk of data loss.

The first migration step (your post stats) was the important and tricky one, and it looks like that completed successfully without any issues.

We’ll be pushing out an update soon which get rids of the referrer stat migration notice for users that already went through the process.

    Best,
    Danny
