Print Documentation?
-
Hi
I know it’s old fashioned … please don’t hammer me LOL !
I can see above and on other sites where there’s a lot of documentation for Woocommerce. I’ve checked the FAQ’s and other pages and can’t find this question answered anywhere.
Can I print the documentation (without accessing it page by page) ?
Thank you

Hi there, that’s actually a good question π
Are you wanting to print all of the documentation here? Or only the bits that are specific to the core WooCommerce plugin?
While we don’t have a pdf version of the documentation, I did find a guide that may help you gather the information anyways. I recommend reading through the comments as well for more tips and tricks:

Hi Nancy
I’m not sure what I want to print yet, I just know I work better from a paper manual than an online manual. I know Joomla, but I’m new to WordPress. I’ve found a WordPress manual that I’ve printed.
Thanks for that link! I never knew that existed – so many times I would’ve used that!Hi there,
Thanks for following up! Glad you were able to track down an option.
If you’re looking for more resources, I recommend looking into other tutorials/books like:

– https://kinsta.com/blog/woocommerce-tutorial/Glad the link helps! It looks like you could print out any of the above using that tutorial. Codeable has a pdf as well:

I hope that helps you get started.
Additional Information
It sounds like you may be new to WooCommerce or WordPress so I wanted to add this portion as a side note that may help.
Are you building your first store on WooCommerce and/or WordPress? You have a few ways to do this.
First, I recommend reading about the difference between WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress sites before deciding which type of site you’d like to build and maintain:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you’d like to setup your store on WordPress.com, you’ll want to check out 2 specific WordPress.com plans (https://wordpress.com/pricing/):
– Business plan: https://en.support.wordpress.com/business-plan/
– eCommerce plan: https://en.support.wordpress.com/ecommerce-plan/If you’d like to be self-hosted, you can do that through a host of your choice. If you’re not sure which host to choose, we have a few recommended hosts listed here to get you started:
http://www.woocommerce.com/hosting-solutions/
We have written a blog post to help you out with the initial setup of a self-hosted site. It will guide you through every step, from downloading WordPress to installing and extending WooCommerce. You will find it here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/start-with-woocommerce-in-5-steps/
While we don’t have a live test site for you to play with, we have some great introductions to WooCommerce here:
– https://woocommerce.com/store-owners/as well as guides under Features > Guides on our main site, for example:
– https://woocommerce.com/guides/new-store/Finally, we have documentation, screenshots, and here:
Please note that the core WooCommerce plugin is free to use. You’re welcome to download it through WooCommerce.com by clicking on “Get Started”.
Or through the WordPress.org plugin repository: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/
However, we offer hundreds of extensions that extend the functionality in a variety of ways. Each has its own price, be it free or more.
Product purchase includes support for setup and troubleshooting, as per our support policy.
Each product subscription lasts for 12 months and is automatically renewed at the current subscription price. Upon renewal, your subscription will provide another year of download access, support, and updates. Renewing will help ensure compatibility with newer versions of WordPress and WooCommerce, as well as potential new features and enhancements.
If you choose not to renew and let the subscription expire, the product will continue working, but you will lose access to updates and support. If you go too long without renewing, it is likely you will experience compatibility issues. If your subscription lapses, you can still purchase it again in the future!
I hope that helps to clarify things!
We havenβt heard back from you in a while, so Iβm going to go ahead and mark this thread as resolved. If you have any other questions please feel free to start a new thread.
