Restore specific database tables

    Hi, I just lost 6 months of WP user accounts, Woocommerce customer orders and WP blogs. My fault. They are in a database backed up by Updraft. I’ll buy Updraft Premium if it can correct this. I need to extract the data and upload to my site. Can this be done?? Thanks.

    Hi,

    UpdraftPlus can restore an entire database, but it will overwrite your current users, posts, and WooCommerce orders, so it isn’t suitable for restoring only a few tables on a live site. What you can do instead is restore the backup on a staging site, and then extract the specific data you need such as users, posts, or orders.

    Once extracted, you can import just those tables or entries back into your live site using an import/export tool.

    I was hoping Updraft Premium was more sophisticated. So yeah your idea is the logical solution. Thanks for your help. Cheers
