    Hello,

    i just want to check I have 2 languages, English and German. I want to set English the default language. But I want the site run in German language.

    Thank you for your message!

    To keep English as the default language, but have German be the language visitors see first, please do the following:

    1. Go to TranslatePress → Settings → General and enable “Use a subdirectory for the default language”.
    2. In the Languages section, reorder the languages so that German is listed first, while English remains set as the default language.

    With this configuration, German will be shown as the primary (first) language to visitors, while English will still remain the site’s default language internally.
