I’m sorry to see you are getting an error. As we can’t reproduce this error in our own environment, can you please send me the following information:
- If possible, the Site Health Info, by going to Tools -> Site Health -> Info tab -> Copy site info to clipboard;
- If you’re not comfortable sharing all the information, we’ll need at least the following: PHP Version, list of active plugins, active theme
- A list of active cron events from your website. You can get this list by installing a plugin such as WP Crontrol or similar. I am mostly interested in ShortPixel events but please note the search functionality might not work very well, so it’s better to search for them directly on the page

Thanks for providing all these details. The error seems to come form some very old data in your DB, which is stored in an old format. The solution I propose is to remove a row stored in your options table, which is called
shortqwp_SPIO. I only recommend doing this if you are comfortable operating directly on your website’s database, otherwise please ask for your host’s technical assistance, or a WordPress developer. The steps would be the following:- Create a full backup of your database, to restore it in case something goes wrong
- Go to PHPMyAdmin on your webhost and locate the options table (by default, it is called
wp_options, but many hosts change the default prefix.) - Go to “Search” and in the
option_namefiled addshortqwp_SPIO, then click on search - After the option is displayed, click on “Delete” to remove it from the database
- Go to wp-admin and deactivate, then reactivate ShortPixel Image Optimizer
Normally, the error should go away and the DB option should be re-created with the correct format. If you still encounter errors, please let us know.
