Thanks for pointing this out. I found some good information here: https://www.acceleratormarketing.com/trench-report/google-analytics-errors-and-structured-data/.
I can tell you that blog posts will only display the author if there is more than one author with posts on your site. That was done by design, but perhaps I could output it and then hide it with CSS.
I’ll definitely look into this some more and include in a future release, assuming the fixes in the article work.
So when I’m looking in the Pratt Theme and go to wp-content/themes/{mytheme} directory (where {mytheme} is the name of your theme). Which php file am I supposed to add or change so that the hentry code correctly shows on google webmaster?
The 3 php files that I see are: functions.php sidebar-footer.php and sidebar-pagebottom.php
According to that article, I should be looking for a file that is called single.php I guess I am just confused as to where I should be putting the new hentry code so that google webmaster doesn’t show any errors.
The main thing that I am trying to do, is when you google energybasis.com, I want my site structure to show up. Here’s an example when you google > moatology this site structure shows up.

I want google to pick up my structure, so it shows my pages that I have created in my menu.
Hi, I am facing the same problem. my website is http://www.governmentjobsindia.co.in/
The theme I am using is Newsdesk. I can’t find the place where I have to put the script.
The error is in webmaster structure data:-
Missing: entry-title
Missing: author
Please advise how to fix this in newsdesk theme.
Thank you.
