Yes thanks I tried using the woocommerce_store_api_checkout_fields filter to force placeholders but that didn’t seem to work. We ended up using javascript to force placeholders for custom fields after the checkout block and custom fields are rendered. It would be great to have some sort of filter available for the plugin that would enable additional features like a separate placeholder for custom fields
to clarify, we just want to have both a label and placeholder, which would be different.
Thanks for your reply! We see that the label provided for the field is displayed inside the field as a placeholder – with our previous checkout page, however, we were able to have a different label than the placeholder, like this:
Would something like this be possible for the Block Checkout fields?
Same issues here – now turning off automatic updates for this plugin after rolling back – hopefully the plugin developer will update soon.
OK thanks for your reply!

We even manually uploaded a fresh copy of WordPress AND Woocommerce via FTP, and nothing seemed to work.
Thanks for your reply! We did double check the wp-config.php file, then logged out and in again, and the white space message was still there. We also then tried the plugin test again and deactivated all plugins, and found that it was Woocommerce still causing the issue. We’ll keep trying to find it and let us know if you have further suggestions.
Thanks for your reply!

In reply to: Can’t set password for new usersOddly I had the same issue with Firefox, even with an Incognito window, and tried other approaches, then trying to create the new user in Chrome worked without any issues.

Hi, when I posted this question initially, it was not regarding wordpress v5.7.2, but version 5.8, and we do not use filebird.
There are issues with the display, and there is no way we can ‘filter by media category’ as shown in your screenshot here:
https://snipboard.io/BEl3Ck.jpgThis is what our Media page looks like, with no option to select media by category – that dropdown seems to be missing:
https://snipboard.io/zsi0qy.jpgThen I realized that we lost all of our media categories with the plugin update (most likely why we are not seeing the ‘filter by media library’ option. We had images and PDFs categorized for a couple of years and all seems to have disappeared since we updated EML – any suggestions on how we might get those back?
Here’s some incorrect documentation that still exists on the UM site regarding content restriction:
This is still incorrect – it would be great for UM to change this documentation to reflect the appropriate use of shortcodes here:
https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/1334-umshowcontent-shortcodeThis would have saved me a lot of time.
Thanks, I accepted the privacy policy. We are using an out of the box Genesis Child theme by Studiopress, which I would think would be compatible.
Weirdly, I unchecked the ‘include the gtag.js’ option in the settings, saved it, then went back to settings and re-selected the ‘include the gtag.js’ option, and the error resolved. It’s as if it wasn’t included at first even though the option was checked.
thanks for your help!
