Hey there!
Thanks for opening a ticket here. I read through the other thread and I would like to ask you to drop us a message via this form. Make sure to include a link to this thread so we can find it easily.
The reason for that is because we might want to dive deeper, and we’d prefer to keep any logs you share with us, private.
Cheers!
Hey there @howardjosephs
This sounds like a conflict between Boost and something specific on your website.
Can you drop us a message via our help page? Make sure to include a link to this thread so we can find it easily.
I’d love to take a closer look.
Hey @fibrojedi!
Am I safe to put back into place some of what I undid for testing, or should I leave it as-is for now?
Anything you did to assist in debugging the issue can be removed.
As for the topic – feel free to mark it as resolved and keep an eye on the ticket @kraftbj mentioned.
No problem.
I’ve noted to revisit the UI and docs to be more clear.
I really appreciate the feedback.
Hey there!
Boost might find multiple pages (like the WooCommerce shop and Yoast’s Cornerstone Pages), but it will cut the list down to the amount that’s allowed, depending on your plan.
Since you’re using the free version of Boost, you’re only allowed 1 URL. This is mentioned in the Cornerstone Pages support docs page near the top:
This setting is available on both the Boost free plan and the Boost Premium plan: the free plan allows you to optimize one page, while the Premium plan supports up to ten pages.
I’ve included a heading right above this section to make it easier to see.
Hope this helps!

Hello again.
I’m following up on my last request. I think I managed to find the website and I noticed that templates from Beaver Builder are no longer present on the website.
Critical CSS failed for the
fl-builder-templatepost type and hasn’t been regenerated since the 23rd of June. I’ve added a ticket to look into ignoring Beaver Builder related post types from Critical CSS generation.Currently, the website is broken, and I noticed that WP Fastest Cache is also installed. Both WP Fastest Cache and Jetpack Boost have features that overlap, and sometimes those features aren’t compatible. If you wish to use Critical CSS from Jetpack Boost, I suggest you disable some features related to CSS from WP Fastest Cache, as they seem to be competing with Jetpack Boost for the optimization.
Hey there @suba123
I’m unable to find your submission. Can you resubmit it once more and include a link to this thread?
I waited for more than 3 hours, but there was no change.
Critical CSS should never take more than 15β20 minutes. 3 hours is way too long and something definitely broke.
I would love to take a look at the problem.

Happy to hear!
Leaving a note here in case someone has a similar problem.
The issue was resolved after updating to Jetpack Boost 4.1.1.
Hey!
I updated to the new version and cleared the cache. The problem seems to be solved.Β
Happy to hear that!
However sometimes it takes 24 hours to see if everything actually works well.
I hope everything works as expected after the update. But feel free to update this thread (or open a new one) if something breaks.
I’m going to leave this thread open for a day. If we don’t hear from you, I’ll consider the problem gone for good and will mark it as “Resolved”.
Cheers!
Hello there!
We’ve just released Jetpack Boost 4.1.1.
Please update, clear your website’s cache and see if the problem persists.
Hey there @pistoscomputers
There is a way to “tell” Boost to skip pages from Critical CSS generation.
However, we first need to identify what needs to be skipped. Can you provide your website’s URL so I can take a closer look at what Boost uses?
If you’re not okay sharing it publicly, you can use this form – https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support&hpi=1
Just make sure to include a link to this thread.
Once we identify what needs to be skipped, we’ll create a PHP snippet which you can add to your site.
Hey again!
Thanks, found the ticket. Let’s move the conversation there.
After we’re done, I’ll update this thread with our findings.
Interesting. This needs a closer look.
Can you drop a request with a link to this thread and mention me via this contact form – https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support&hpi=1
It’s so that I can easily find you in the tickets π

Hey there!
Thanks for providing detailed information about your problem.
On Friday we identified an issue that appears only when “Optimize LCP Images” and “Defer Non-Essential JavaScript” are both enabled. It causes script duplication.
Can you try disabling one to see if the problem persists?
I’m pretty sure the problem should disappear.
In the meantime, we have a new version releasing today that should allow you to have both features enabled without issues.
