In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] Plugin error on Admin pageGreat! Glad it is resolved. Thanks for reporting. And sorry for that – should obviously be caught in testing.

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] The latest versions of the plugin do not work on Android- If I’m understanding your screenshots correctly, images are not opening in the lightbox. Is that right?
- Don’t you have other sites where your images ARE opening opening in the lightbox on android, or do you see the same behavior for every site?
- I think you shared screenshots of your device information. But I can’t read russian or grab the text from the screenshots to translate it. Can you just tell me which phone model and browser you are using so I can try to test those?

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] The latest versions of the plugin do not work on AndroidHi @slavcilla!
Sorry to hear you are still having this issue.
I just tested https://zr73.ru/rabochie-perchatki now on a Galaxy S23 phone (with Chrome) and it is working as expected for me. Here’s what I see: https://d.pr/v/XSakzAI also tested on a Tab S9 tablet (with Firefox) and it is working there too:
https://d.pr/v/w7Z76aCan I confirm exactly what you’re seeing? I believe for you all images DO open in the lightbox BUT each image opens individually in the lightbox so you cannot navigate from image to image within the lightbox.
Is that correct? If not, can you please tell me exactly what you’re seeing.
Also can you tell me exactly which device and browser you are using? Thanks!

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] Fancy box not scrolling@fmarzocca – Can you confirm which lightbox you’re using (classic, reloaded, v2)? Also, if there’s a link where I can see the behavior, that would be helpful. Thanks!

In reply to: [LightPress Lightbox] Disable Swipe on mobile to enable Zooming?Hi! Just wanted to let you know I’m taking a look at this today. I’m hoping I’ll have something that works in the next day or so. If so, I’ll push a release and update you here.

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] The latest versions of the plugin do not work on Android“On Android, images are opened singly, as the gallery does not work.” Do ALL the images open singly? I was still thinking the issue was with some images not opening. If they all open singly, but you can’t navigate between then, that’s a bit different issue.
I can confirm for you that, at least on my side, I can navigate between all the images on desktop, my personal iPhone, and Android devices on BrowserStack. So whatever the issue is here, it’s probably something quite specific to a particular environment.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] The latest versions of the plugin do not work on AndroidOK. Thanks for trying that. Since I can’t duplicate the issue now, it becomes trickier to resolve. I’ll try going out and testing against an array of Android devices in the next day or two to see if I can duplicate.
Just to confirm where we stand, with latest version of the plugin…- the gallery works 100% as expected on desktop browsers
- on Android, some images open, and some still do not
Is that correct?

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] The latest versions of the plugin do not work on AndroidIt working for me now on your site for all devices! The issue I saw earlier is resolved. So that’s good and progress.
If you are not seeing the fix, I wonder if it may be related to caching. In essence, the old version of the fancybox js, with the old values for which files to detect, is still being loaded on your phone.
To confirm, you could try:
* testing on another browser (Firefox, etc) on your phone
* testing on a different Android device (tablet or friend/family phone)
* clearing the cached files from your browser on your android device… You can do this by going to Menu > Settings > Privacy & Security in your bowser. Further instructions here (scroll down to section about clearing cache for chrome): https://www.zdnet.com/article/how-to-clear-the-cache-on-your-android-phone-or-tablet-and-why-you-should/. You don’t need to clear everything, just cached files so we can be sure you’re getting the latest JavaScript file with the updated values including jpeg.
* waiting… eventually the cache will clear/update on your phone tooForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] The latest versions of the plugin do not work on AndroidI posted and then edited my response above, but to be sure you see it, can you please update to the latest version again, and then go to the Easy FancyBox options screen (on Settings > Media) and try updating this field to include .jpeg please? https://d.pr/i/xuhDZY

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] The latest versions of the plugin do not work on AndroidHey I think I know the issue. Some of your images are .jpg, and some are .jpeg. And the plugin isn’t including .jpeg in the list of file extensions to detect.
Can you please update to the latest version again, and then go to the Easy FancyBox options screen and try updating this field to include jpeg please? https://d.pr/i/xuhDZY- This reply was modified 1 year, 10 months ago by FirelightWP.

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] The latest versions of the plugin do not work on Android“YES – 2nd image on the first row, and the 1st / 3rd images on the second row. Those work. Others do not.”
To confirm, is that true for you even on Android? If so, the issue isn’t Android, but just figuring out what’s not configured quite right on those images that are not working…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] The latest versions of the plugin do not work on AndroidActually, when I test on your site, even on a normal (not mobile/android) web browser, some of the images open in the lightbox and some do not. I’m wondering if you can test and confirm.
Example: On your home page, if you scroll down to the gallery, try clicking the 2nd image on the first row, and the 1st / 3rd images on the second row. Those work. Others do not.
Is it possible that’s what you’re seeing? If so, can you try checking that the proper settings / fancybox attributes are in place for those images?- This reply was modified 1 year, 10 months ago by FirelightWP.
