The idea of hiding the box on the edit page is to not offer the option for manual posting and thus only the automated version at the time of publishing.

Changing line 45 in the mentioned file to the following seems to have solved my issue:
$tags[] = isset($term->term_id) ? $term->term_id : '';I’m not able to reproduce it myself, it was logged automatically when used by my client. I’m expecting it has something to do with PHP 8.x being more strict.

Along with the mentioned warning, I’m also getting the following (which I recall having been fixed before):

That is why I have implemented the underlaying lightbox (baguetteBox.js) directly in my theme and got it working with a few lines of code. Only thing I’m facing is an issue with my fixed bootstrap header. Hope they can fix it some time.
