Making it to Friday is starting to feel less like a routine and more like a survival skill.

Because between alarms, work, problems, meetings, messages, bills, weird people, stupid decisions, and accumulated exhaustion, there are weeks you don't really live through. You just survive them.
And yet... here we are. Sleepy, probably with less patience than we had on Monday, and with our brains already running in power-saving mode, but still alive. And considering how the world works these days, that's honestly not a small achievement.

Fridays have something special. Not because problems magically disappear, but because for a couple of days we get that little illusion of freedom. Like the body finally relaxes a bit and your brain quietly says: "alright... we made it this far".

So today we're celebrating the important stuff: we're still standing, we haven't told too many people to go fuck themselves this week �or at least not too many� and we still have enough energy left to lose a few more brain cells watching videos online.

THAT THE THIRD WHEEL DOESN'T RUIN THE DATE OF YOUR LIFE

The third-wheel friend is a figure that's probably existed forever and, somehow, never goes out of style. Doesn't matter the city, age, or generation. She always appears. She's that friend who joins "just for a bit", who's "only coming along", who's "leaving in a minute"... and we all know how that story ends.

Because a date is a delicate thing. There's a rhythm. A little tension. Two people trying to read each other, loosen up, and find the right moment to go from strangers to something more. And then suddenly a third person shows up sitting across the table eating nachos, talking about TV shows or asking if anyone watched the latest season of something.

The third wheel doesn't always have bad intentions. A lot of times she doesn't even realize it. Maybe it's insecurity, habit, or because her friend said, "come for a bit and then leave us alone." The problem is that "a bit" has a supernatural ability to somehow last for hours.

And the funny thing is that relationships are full of little invisible things like this. Because relationships usually don't fall apart because of huge movie-style tragedies. They get built � or wrecked � through small details: timing, moments, interruptions, and people showing up where they weren't supposed to.

Some conversations only happen because you're alone. Some looks happen because silence exists. Some connections appear because nobody else is taking up space. But the second a third person walks in, no matter how nice they are, the whole energy changes. Because the third wheel doesn't take up a chair. She takes over the moment.

And there are few things more frustrating than feeling a date starting to build momentum... only to watch it slam on the brakes because somebody decided to stay five more minutes. Or an hour more. Or basically move into the table permanently.
Because we've all met one. And the brave ones have even survived a legendary professional third wheel. The one who, right when it finally seems like she's leaving... says: "So... what are we doing after this?"
