John Hill, 20, known on social networks as Boonk IG, is a 21th century's hooligan/yob/hellion... Yobs have spent the history annoying people in order to have some fun... They aren't thugs because their acts stick to pranks or vandalism, but still they're repudiated by the community.
Boonk IG records his bad actions and shares the videos on social networks, for example he entered a Dunkin' Donuts and "stole" a plate of donuts worth $38. He returned the donuts after recording the video, but still he was arrested and condemned to 60 days of house arrest.
Going to restaurants and taking the food by himself, having her hair cut and leaving without paying, getting a tattoo and running away or trying sneakers on and escaping with them... His Instagram account has more than 1,5M followers and apparently his intention is to become famous in order to sell his music...

THE PHILIPPINES EARTHQUAKE

The following images were recorded yesterday, Monday, during the powerful earthquake that struck the city of General Santos in southern Philippines. In them, you can see several workers standing near the entrance of a building while the structure shakes more and more violently.

From outside, several people begin shouting at them and gesturing for them to leave the area as quickly as possible. For a few moments, some of them seem hesitant, watching the building continue to move while the earthquake goes on.
Eventually, they decide to run. And it turned out to be the right decision.

Just moments after the last workers moved away from the facade, a large section of the building collapsed within seconds. The structure came down, creating a huge cloud of dust and debris exactly where several people had been standing moments earlier.

Looking back at the footage, it's hard not to think about how close they came to being trapped beneath the rubble. It was a matter of just a few seconds between staying where they were and witnessing the collapse from a safe distance.
Fortunately, despite how dramatic the images are, there were no casualties among the people seen in the video. A fortunate ending to a scene that, for a few moments, seemed like it could have ended very differently.

PLAYING IN THE ATTIC

Kids used to disappear for hours. They�d run outside, climb trees, sneak into places they definitely weren�t supposed to be, and come back covered in dirt, random bruises and stories their parents probably didn�t want to hear about.
Now a lot of them barely leave the house. They grow up glued to a screen, swiping before they even learn how to tie their shoes. TikTok, tablets, phones, ten-second videos, instant dopamine and brains working like they need a brand-new stimulus every fifteen seconds just to stay switched on.

And honestly, seeing how the world is these days, you can kind of understand it. There are probably plenty of parents sleeping better knowing their kids are sitting on the couch watching Minecraft videos instead of acting like maniacs twenty floors above the ground.

But every now and then, a little bit of resistance shows up. Kids who, for some reason, still feel that old instinct to climb, explore, do incredibly stupid risky things and turn any random place into an improvised playground.
Like some primitive part of the brain still refuses to become just another accessory connected to the house WiFi.

And while half the internet keeps debating kids and screen time, others are simply up there, playing where they probably should never be playing.

LOOKS LIKE KARMA, BUT IT ISN�T

People love talking about karma as if there�s some kind of cosmic accountant taking notes on everything you do. Like the universe has a giant spreadsheet keeping track of who�s been a good person and who�s been an asshole so it can later hand out rewards and punishments.
But honestly, there probably doesn�t need to be anything mystical involved to explain a lot of things.

Because more than karma, what really exists is causality. Action and reaction. Consequences. The things you do end up creating an impact on the people around you and on the environment you move through.

If you help others, if you take care of your relationships, if you�re someone people can trust, if you work hard, if you try to bring more solutions instead of problems, then sooner or later that usually creates connections, opportunities and people willing to help you when you�re the one needing support.
Your work can reward you. Your friends can be there for you. People can speak well about you. Recommend you. Give you a hand.
Not because the universe picked you as the main character of some motivational movie. Simply because people react to the way you treat them.

And the exact opposite happens too. If you spend your life hurting others, taking advantage of people, betraying, lying, acting like an idiot or believing you can walk all over everyone without consequences, chances are that sooner or later you�ll end up surrounded by distrust, problems and people wishing you�d disappear from their lives.
Not because the cosmos decided to punish you. But because reactions are usually directly proportional to the shit you cause.

Because in the end, most of the time there�s no need to talk about universal energy, ancestral karma or spiritual nonsense. It�s enough to understand that the world works like a massive chain of causes and consequences.
And when you constantly dedicate yourself to spreading conflict, violence or harm� sooner or later someone ends up speaking back to you in the exact same language you�ve been using all along.

SHE ARRIVED AT HER DESTINATION

The classic situation where you follow your GPS directions and end up somewhere you definitely shouldn't be. And we're not talking about driving down a closed street or entering a parking lot through the exit. No. We're talking about ending up driving on the Seattle light rail tracks while stunned passengers watched from the platform.

According to local reports, the driver ended up with her vehicle on the tracks near Mount Baker Station, forcing authorities to temporarily suspend service while crews removed the car. Fortunately, nobody was injured and there was no collision with any train.

I swear situations like this fascinate me. I mean... how do you even get that far? I understand missing a turn, taking the wrong exit, or getting distracted for a few seconds. But driving onto train tracks means ignoring a considerable number of signs, curbs, physical barriers and, above all, common sense.
And the best part is that the explanation is almost always the same: "I was just following the GPS directions."

Between the people who somehow wedge their cars into pedestrian staircases, those who drive into subway entrances, and those who turn train tracks into improvised roads, I'm increasingly convinced that some people drive looking at a screen instead of the world around them.
It reminds me of the people who put on virtual reality headsets, throw themselves into empty space, run straight into walls, or take off running because their brains decide that what they're seeing is more real than reality itself.
