After the launch of Sora 2, OpenAI�s new video AI, the internet has filled up with surreal clips of Stephen Hawking doing impossible things: from throwing backflips and fighting robots to making a getaway from his wheelchair.
Users have turned the tool into a �deepfakes 2.0� generator, pumping out viral videos on X, Reddit, and TikTok that blend realism with absurd scenarios, like showdowns with Albert Einstein.

Sora 2 can produce sound-on videos from text in seconds, which has supercharged creativity�and controversy too.
Even though OpenAI says it�s added �strict safety measures�, there are already violent and politically incorrect clips circulating made with the tool.
The company promises more control for people affected to forbid the use of their face or voice, though for now it feels like the tool has gotten out of hand.

Available only by invite in the U.S. and Canada, users elsewhere are getting in via VPN or through third parties.
The result: a flood of videos that look ripped from science fiction� with Hawking turned into the unwitting star of the moment.
