Change or remove share permissions

You can change the sharing permissions of designs and folders you own at any time.

Change share permissions for people, teams, or groups added to a design
  1. Open the design.
  2. Click
Share from the menu bar above the editor.
  3. Select the profile picture of the user, team, or group you want to change permissions.
  4. Next to the user, team, or group, select the
icon to update their access to Can edit, comment, view, or Remove.

If your design is shared to Anyone with the link, you can still change to whom it’s shared to and the level of access granted.

  1. Open the design.
  2. Click
Share from the menu bar above the editor.
  3. Besides
Anyone with the link, select the dropdown to choose what type of permissions you want to give: can edit, comment, or view. Under Team discovery, select whether you want it to be Visible in search results or Must have link to access. You can change the permissions any time after this.
  4. If prompted, click Update link access.

If you’d like to make sure that no one else has access to your design, choose Only people added can access. If you’ve added people to your design, refer to the section above to unshare your design.

Share profile pictures

Designs that have been shared to others have profile pictures. You can click on any of the profile pictures to see who has access to your design or folder.

  • If a design or folder doesn’t have a profile picture, it means that it’s private to you.
  • If it is shared to you and another person or team, a design will have two profile pictures.

If the design is shared to more than two people, the second profile picture will have a

Plus icon, which means that you and two or more people or teams have access to it.
