Criminal Minds will be back for a 19th season on Paramount+ and we have some updates on changes coming to the cast for the next installment.

While this is the 19th season overall of the beloved CBS show, this is the four season of the Evolution continuation that airs on the streaming service.

Showrunner Erica Messer revealed over the summer that the upcoming season will focus on Adam Rodriguez‘s character.

“Alvez has a lot going on this season, and it really kicks off in the second episode of the season, which we’ve already shot. I think it’s his year to sort of grow and shine a little bit more. And Adam’s so good. I think there wasn’t a dry eye when we screened the second episode. And that’s all I’ll say,” Erica told TV Insider.
