The trailer for the highly anticipated movie The Odyssey is playing before Avatar 3 in theaters and film fanatics will be rushing to theaters to catch the clip on the big screen.
27 actors have been confirmed for the Christopher Nolan project and several of them happen to be Oscar-winning entertainers.
“The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX film screens for the first time and opens in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026,” Universal Pictures announced at the end of last year.
The Odyssey chronicles “the ten-year journey of Odysseus, king of Ithaca, back to his home after the fall of Troy,” according to GoodReads. Homer wrote it around the 8th or 7th century BC.

ShogĹ«n actor Cosmo Jarvis was originally announced as part of the star-studded cast for the film that also includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, Mia Goth, and Corey Hawkins.
