Eight years after announcing his retirement, the 68-year-old three-time Oscar winner stars in the new movie Anemone, which he co-wrote with son Ronan Day-Lewis. The movie marks Ronan‘s directorial debut.

Daniel stars in the new family drama alongside Sean Bean, Samuel Bottomley, Safia Oakley-Green and Samantha Morton.

Anemone “explores the intricate relationships between fathers, sons and brothers, and the dynamics of familial bonds.”
